Teaching in Webequie—Daily Life
08:30— Teachers arrive at school, where they have 30 minutes for preparations. A breakfast program runs for the students starting at 8:00.
08:55— Class begins. Students have a nutrition break and recess throughout the morning.
12:00-1:10— Students and staff go home for lunch.
1:10-3:30— Classes continues for the afternoon. Students are dismissed at 3:30 and teachers stay until 4:00.
There is an after-school program for students run by Right to Play. Teachers also arrange extracurriculars for students to participate in. Teachers have one prep period each day while their students are in Native Language class.
The SJMEC high school runs on a semester system and has 4 periods each day.

2:30-4:00 Period 4
Teachers teach 3 classes and have one prep period throughout the day.
Teacherages
Private housing is provided for all incoming teachers. The teacherages are a 2 minute walk from the school and are located next to the lake. Accomodation is rent-free and each house is fully furnished with all major appliances including fridge, freezer, stove/oven, washer and dryer. Kitchens are also equipped with microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, cutlery, and pots and pans. Satellite TV service, high speed internet, and utilities are all included.
